Metal Re-Roof
Roofing Replaced
10,000 ㎡
Our relationship started back in 2011 when we were engaged to carry out 10,000m2 re-roof for Mitsubishi.
This Xmas just gone we carried out the replacement of the loading bay roof circa 1,000m2 including steal beam replacement & painting. At the same time we had a crew on the main Administration roof around 2,500m2.
The specification for this was to batten out over the existing metal roof then install two layers of insulation followed by a new Colorbond Kliplok roof. As this progressed along, new large stainless steel gutters were being installed with new PVC downpipes. The downpipe part of the job was no easy task as most of this was carried out in the ceiling voids with some pipes up to 350mm in diameter. A new dampalon atrium roof was installed with some colourful language by yours truly as we struggled to overcome onsite difficulties.
On completion I was very please to hear the architect saying 'THIS IS A VERY TIDY JOB'.
This project is the tonic needed from time to time to keep ones faith in the construction game. Very challenging & rewarding. It is great to be appreciated by a client that understands the effort required in delivering such a project in such a tight time frame.
Mitsubishi I appreciate you as an extremely valued client.
